We went to Sakoon for dinner couple of times, and were very pleased. The food is excellent, with a variety of meals. The great thing about the food here is that there's a twist to every dish. The service was good, food was incredible, and the ambiance was perfect. The decor is very nice.Fiber optics lights that change color are spectacular. Most of the dishes were done well.
We recommend:
Chaat Ki Parat
Avocado Jhalmuri
Saag Pasand se
Shahi Paneer (Very rich and delicious)
Mirchi Baingan ka Salan
Pineapple Gojju
Shyam Savera
Gulab Jamoon (yumm yumm)
Triple chocolate creme brûlée (if you are Chocolate Lover)
Lavendar kulfi
Also the Naans were really soft, fluffy and well-cooked.
The prices are a little higher than other places but we appreciated the Great Food. They have a large wine list. They also have rooms in the back for parties. There's an appealing lunch buffet for $11.95 served Monday–Friday and $12.95 on weekends.
Special Features: vibrant bar scene, fit for foodies, good for groups, kid-friendly, late-night find, romantic, special occasion
If you are looking for some good food...come to Sakoon! One of my favorite restaurants on Castro..Definitely worth a visit.
